Global Markets – Scam or Not? Forex Reviews 2019

Seychelles-based Global Markets made waves in early 2019 after introducing a new trading platform for Contracts-for-Difference (also known as CFDs) trading. The platform operates through SIRIX – a powerful Forex trading interface, which provides numerous customization tools – and is available on Android and iOS mobile devices, as well as through any web browser that supports HTML5.

Global Markets’ platform is aimed at beginner-level traders, with uncluttered design, and a comprehensive online academy. The website offers a rich library of learning resources – video tutorials, e-books, and other tools – designed to teach you the basic concepts of Forex trading & CFDs. The broker also allows investors to open a demo trading account, complete with real market conditions, and practice their investment skills using virtual money. You can join the platform today – and register a Global Markets demo account right away!

The platform offers various investment products, ranging from popular Forex pairs, to commodities such as aggricultures. Global Markets operates in over 20 countries, but it is worth mentioning the broker doesn’t provide investment services to traders in the US and Canada.

In this review, we will examine the platform’s reliability, ease of use, and security, and evaluate its accessibility, as well as the range of products.

  • Available Options

Global Markets offers over 100 different investment products, ranging from foreign exchange pairs to stocks and indices. The broker lists such popular options as Amazon and Netflix stocks, Gold, and Aluminum.

  • List of Options:

Forex Pairs:

  • Major: EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, USD/CHF, etc.
  • Minor: EUR/GBP, EUR/AUD, GBP/JPY, etc.

Stocks: Amazon, Netflix, Uber, Microsoft, Apple, etc.

Indices: NSDQ, DOW, SP500, DAX, FTSE, etc.

Commodities: Crude Oil, Silver, Aluminum, Gold, Cotton, etc.

  • Platform Interface

Global Markets is available on any device that can run an HTML5-supportive browser.  The trading interface can also be accessed through a mobile app, available on Google Play and the App Store.

Sirix Webtrader – the trading application Global Markets uses – focuses on ease of use above complexity. The interface offers premium web-based trading environment, with various customization options and over 30 visualizations to choose from. From the moment you open Global Markets’ web interface, it is obvious the broker aims at beginner-level brokers, while still offering the functionalities desired by experienced veterans.

  • SIRIX Evaluated

The trading interface of Global Markets doesn’t require PC installations, and as a result is available on any operating system – Windows, MacOS, and user-level Linux variants. We used Google Chrome 75.0.3 as benchmark for testing the interface. By default, the platform loads a visualization of the EUR/USD pair, but this can quickly be changed from a list of all the available products, accessible through a top-drown menu.

Global Markets’ performance was stable on Google Chrome, but the broker’s web-interface does require a steady internet connection, and can be heavy on your traffic. SIRIX comes with in-built social trading system that shows the best-performing investors, and the trades they have made with Global Markets.

Only the most important graphs and information are displayed at the same time. Your account balance is always visible on the bottom, and so are your open positions. The layout was designed as to not overwhelm traders with unnecessary details, and instead brings your focus to the current instrument, with a chart visualization, and time frames. The mobile app keeps most of the layout the same, facilitating easy transition between the browser environment and your mobile device.

Overall, Global Markets offers Forex trading experience tailored to meet the requirements of beginners in the field, but is powerful enough to provide additional functionalities to more experienced traders. Download Global Markets today on your mobile device – through the App Store, or through Google Play.

  • Fees, Spreads, and Tiers

There are four distinct tiers of trading accounts available on Global Markets. Each tier is designed to fit the needs of a specific investor’s profile. The four tiers –  bronze, gold, platinium, and diamond, offer access to different investment products and tools, with some of them reserved only for higher-tier traders.

Global Markets does not impose fees on depositing to or withdrawing funds from your trading account, and trades on the site don’t have commissions, either. Instead, the broker relies on a spreads system.
